Paid ads work when someone is actually watching them. I run your Google Ads and Facebook/Instagram ads, track the calls and form leads they produce, cut the spending that is not bringing in customers, and send you a plain-English report every month. You deal with me directly, not an account rep.
Real results: PuroClean of Southern Indiana
PuroClean of Southern Indiana is a water, fire, and mold restoration company based in Georgetown. I have worked with owner Dan Irmscher since 2023 on their website, Google Ads, and Google Business Profile.
- Mold remediation revenue doubled from 2024 to 2025 (reported by the owner)
- Hundreds of dollars in junk searches found and blocked: “cleaning service near me,” insurance phone-number lookups, DIY mold questions, and out-of-area searches
- 226 negative keywords added across every campaign
- Conversion tracking rebuilt. Google had been counting 30-second calls from an old, paused campaign as leads (19 of 21 recorded “conversions”). Bidding now learns only from calls over 60 seconds, contact form submissions, and website chats.
What is included
- Account setup or cleanup. New campaigns built from scratch, or an audit of an existing account that has been running on autopilot.
- Conversion tracking that counts real leads. Phone calls of 60+ seconds, form submissions, and chats, set up in Google Ads and GA4 and tested before we spend a dollar.
- Local targeting. Keywords, locations, and ad copy aimed at Bloomington and Southern Indiana. People searching from your service area, not someone in another state.
- Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram). Campaigns that put your business in front of local people before they ever search: promotions, seasonal pushes, events, and retargeting the people who already visited your site.
- Ongoing negative keyword work. I read your search terms report and block what is not a customer.
- Budget and bid management. Weekly checks so you never get a surprise bill.
- Landing page feedback. The ad is only half of it. If the page needs rebuilding, that is a web design job.
- A monthly report you can read. What was spent, how many real leads it produced, what each lead cost, and what I changed.
Pricing
- Account setup: billed hourly at $105/hour. A simple single-campaign setup can take as little as 2 hours. Accounts with several services, campaigns, or tracking problems to untangle can take 10 hours or more. I will give you an estimate after we talk, before any work starts.
- Ongoing management: 15% of monthly ad spend. On a $1,000/month budget, that is $150/month.
- Ad budget: you pay Google and Meta directly, on your own card. Most local businesses start around $1,000/month in ad spend.
- No long-term contract. You own the account and everything in it.
How it works
- Talk it through (free). We agree on your budget, your service area, and what a lead is worth to you.
- Setup. I build or clean up the account, install and test conversion tracking, and load starting negative keywords.
- First 2–4 weeks. I watch closely while Google’s and Meta’s bidding learns, and cut wasted spend as it shows up.
- Every month after. Adjustments, a plain-English report, and an optional call to go over it.
Who it is for
- Local service businesses that need calls faster than SEO can deliver
- Businesses with a seasonal push or a new service to launch
- Anyone running ads now who cannot say how many real leads they got last month
Not a fit: if your budget is under $500/month, you will usually get more from Local SEO and your Google Business Profile first. I will tell you that up front.
Frequently asked questions
How much should I spend on ads?
Most local businesses I work with start around $1,000 a month in ad spend. That is enough data to see what works within the first month or two. You can scale up from there.
How do you charge?
Account setup is billed at $105/hour, usually somewhere between 2 and 10 hours depending on how complex the account is. You get an estimate up front. Ongoing management is 15% of your monthly ad spend, so the fee scales with the account: $150/month on a $1,000 budget. You pay the ad platforms directly, so there is never a hidden markup on your spend.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. If we stop working together, you keep everything: campaigns, history, and data.
How soon will I see results?
Ads can bring calls in the first week. Google’s and Meta’s automated bidding needs 2–4 weeks of data to settle, so judge performance after the first full month.
Should I run Google Ads or Facebook ads?
They do different jobs. Google Ads reach people who are already searching for what you do, so they are usually first for service businesses that get calls. Facebook and Instagram ads reach local people before they search, which works well for promotions, events, and staying in front of past website visitors. Many businesses start with Google and add Meta once tracking is solid.
Google Ads or SEO: which should I do?
Ads bring traffic now and stop when you stop paying. SEO takes months but keeps working. Most of my clients do both. See Local SEO.
