We don’t sell packages. We don’t push you toward services you don’t need. We start by listening.

Start With a Conversation

Before we talk about websites or marketing, we talk about your business. What are you trying to accomplish? Who are you trying to reach? What’s working right now, and what isn’t?

That first conversation shapes everything that comes after. It keeps us from building the wrong thing, and it helps you make an informed decision about whether David Martin Design is the right fit.

We offer both in-person and online consultations, and there’s no obligation attached to either.

Understand Before We Build

Once we’re working together, we take time to understand your audience, your goals, and your existing presence before making recommendations or touching anything live.

This means we might review your current website, your search visibility, your Google Business Profile, or how you show up in local directories, depending on what’s relevant to your goals. We share what we find before we start, so you know what we’re working with and why.

We keep clients informed throughout a project, not with jargon, but with plain updates on what’s happening, what’s next, and what decisions you need to make.

If something takes longer than expected, we say so. If we find an issue we didn’t anticipate, we bring it to you with a clear explanation and honest options. David Martin Design does not make changes to your website without your knowledge or approval.

We believe you should understand what we’re doing and why. Not every technical detail, but enough to make informed decisions, ask good questions, and not feel dependent on us for things you could handle yourself.

When it makes sense, David Martin Design walks clients through how to update content, review analytics, or manage their Google Business Profile. We’d rather have a client who’s informed and capable than one who’s dependent.

Stay Current, Stay Honest

The web changes constantly, with search algorithms, AI-generated results, accessibility standards, and mobile behavior all shifting over time. We keep up with those changes so our clients don’t have to, and we’re straightforward when something we recommended a year ago needs revisiting.
