For over 11 years I have been publishing web pages, sharing internet articles and web snippets, posting photos and links on Facebook, Google Reader, Picasa, and being an active participant on the internet. Over the past 11 years, I have been an early adopter and have discovered and participated in some amazing web services. I have introduced websites like Pandora, Grooveshark, Youtube, and several other common household websites to countless friends and family members. Through my passion of web design and participating on the web, I have been able to share my experience with others and have become an “influencer” on the web.
The internet is my passion, it’s what I spend most of my time doing. To some, this might seem like a waste of time, however I feel that we live in an amazing time in history in which we have the answer to many of life’s everyday problems at our fingertips. My time is not wasted if I am improving myself and others around me. With Google, and knowing the right phrase to search for, I can locate a QUALITY answer to just about any question that I might have. If I can’t locate a good resource that will answer my question or if I need an answer to a specific problem that is unique to me, there are other options out there such as Vark, Yahoo Answers, Ask.com, and more. I jokingly tell people that my answer to just about everything can be found on Google. I guess you can say there is a truth in every joke.
I plan to post web design and internet marketing insights to this blog on a (semi)-regular basis so that I can share knowledge, internet experience, and provide some insights that will be helpful and contribute to my readers, my clients, and local businesses.
While I regularly post items on Twitter, Facebook, Google Buzz, and many other websites, I find that there is limited space to record my thoughts. My goal is to write long form content that provides unique analysis and insight into web development, web design, social media marketing, and internet marketing, including services that will be a valuable resource for my clients, my fans, and will be a valuable resource in my web design business.
I look forward to writing more and to polishing my writing skills while interacting with interested readers (hopefully I will get some of those). Thank you for your support and for your business!
